Schools Infrastructure Development:
Our NGO has supported schools by donating or financially supporting the acquisition of:

280 desks for 840 school children

computers, blackboards, cupboards, shelves, tables, library books, school block building
Education through Direct Sponsoring:
-
the ongoing sponsoring program currently involves 103 students enrolled in college and university courses
GSDA regularly conducts meetings for women, farmers, adolescents living in rural areas who have never had the chance to be educated formally.
Prior to the day we announce that a meeting will be held and who is interested can turn up for discussions and talks.
Topics that will be counselled and discussed include:

health care and hygiene - according to the strategies of WASH and SAFE (for further details click HERE)

importance of right nutrition

disease prevention

agricultural advice to farmers (gardening, irrigation, food-securing, use of fertilizer, crop cycle)
